FAQs

What is the typical donation range for your classes?

We operate on a donation-based system to ensure yoga is accessible to all. While there's no set price, contributions between $10-$20 are common and help us maintain our classes and space. Donate what feels comfortable for you!

What if I'm new to yoga or kinesiology? Are your classes appropriate for beginners?

Absolutely! Our kinesiology-inspired yoga incorporates elements suitable for all levels. Our instructors can offer modifications to poses to ensure a safe and effective practice, regardless of your experience.

How are your classes different from a regular yoga class?

Relief Street Yoga integrates principles of kinesiology into our practice. This means we focus on movement mechanics, injury prevention, and enhancing your functional movement in everyday activities. You'll experience a more holistic approach to yoga, addressing not just your physical postures but also your overall well-being.

Do I need to bring anything to class?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement. A yoga mat is ideal, but we have a limited number available for borrowing if needed. Feel free to bring water and any props you might prefer, like yoga blocks or a strap.
